*Poetry Group
Is presenting a Words and Music afternoon on Wednesday, 14 March 2012 at 2.30pm at the Berriew Bowls Club. This event is for U3A members only and you can only get in with a pre-bought programme (space and numbers are limited) costing £2 each. Programmes will be on sale at the March general meeting, or you can contact Eric Beckmann on 01686 650505.
*Birding Group
There will be a meeting at The Old School, Guilsfield on Friday, 10 February at 10.30 am.
Walking Group

*Luncheon Group

Film Group Pool
This group views a film each month on DVD and then discusses it at the following meeting, first Wednesday in the month. We have space for one more member who lives at/near the Welshpool 'end' of our area. Size is restricted because of size of available meeting places. Contact David Geldart, 01938 850394.
*Daily Life in Art
This new Group aims to look at ways of life using paintings as a means of studying the interiors of homes,
the social aspects and historical data depicted in the work of artists down the ages.
The first meeting is 17th February at 2pm in Montgomery, led by Sylvia Sparrow, and will cover the subject of 'Bathing',
plus discussion on waht form of study the group could or should consider. Future topics could include Bedrooms, Dining, Lighting,
Toys, Pets, Servants, Furniture, etc. Please ring Sylvia on 01686 668322 if you are interested.
