If you want to join us, just come along to a monthly meeting on the first Tuesday of the month and you can join on the spot!
CRITERIA
The only qualification for membership is that you should have ceased full-time paid work. You are welcome regardless of your sex, religion, politics, ethnic origins, or disability. There is no lower or upper age limit.
COST
The annual subscription is currently £10 a year, with a 50p charge for tea/coffee each main monthly meeting. These cover the hire of the room, admin expenses and speakers' fees and expenses plus capitation to the national organisation (the Third Age Trust which provides loads of support plus appropriate insurance cover). The Interest Groups are self-funding and must pay for their own expenses, materials and trips.
PLEASE NOTE
If you just want to come along for a taster at our monthly Tuesday meetings, it costs £2. You cannot join an interest group separately from the U3A as a whole – you must have paid your annual subscription first.
